Chime in with the local community as they start up the new South Whiteshell Community Choir!

The choir will be officially starting up in October, but you can learn more information  at the open house on Tuesday, September 2 at 7:30 p.m. at the Christie/Hamilton House, located on Highway 301 at the first driveway on the left east of the Faloma Beach Marina or if you are coming from West Hawk, it’s the second driveway on the right after you pass the Toniata turnoff (PR-301 605). Appetizers, snacks, and beverages are welcome.

The South Whiteshell Trail is a gorgeous hiking trail that winds through the beautiful forest terrain of the Whiteshell from Rennie to the Ontario border. The trail is divided into several different portions that stretch across the South Whiteshell; so whether you’re feeling ambitious and want to bike across the south Whiteshell or just want to take a casual stroll near your campsite, this trail is a perfect way to explore the gorgeous landscape and nature of the Canadian Shield.  On August 31, the South Whiteshell Trail Association will be hosting a grand opening of the newest section of the trail that spans from the southwest corner of Falcon Lake to the Ontario border.
